Editorial Leadership and Board
According to the best practices of the AJ Family of Journals, AJME will establish a distinguished international editorial team. Following the successful model of our flagship journal, AJME, we will be forming an Editorial Board, an Advisory Board, and teams of Section, Managing, and Language Editors.
We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Maya Khater will serve as the founding Editor-in-Chief of AJME.
Dr. Khater is an Associate Professor in Public International Law at the College of Law at Abu Dhabi University and brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the journal. She holds a Ph.D. from Damascus University and has held academic and leadership positions at several universities, including Al Kalamoon University, Dar Al Uloom University, and Al Yamamah University. Her extensive administrative experience includes roles as a vice dean and assistant dean, demonstrating her strong leadership capabilities.
A highly respected scholar, Dr. Khater has an impressive publication record, including four books and numerous research papers in peer reviewed journals. Her areas of expertise—public international law, human rights, and international criminal law—are perfectly aligned with the journal's scope. As an experienced author, reviewer for legal journals, and qualified science editor, Dr. Khater is exceptionally well-suited to lead AJME to academic excellence.
Under her leadership, we will establish a distinguished international editorial team. Following the successful model of our flagship journal, AJME, we will be forming an Editorial Board, an Advisory Board, and teams of Section, Managing, and Language Editors. We will soon announce an open call for applications for these positions and invite scholars and practitioners to join us in this exciting new venture.

Dr. Nurmagambetov is an associate professor in the Department of Jurisprudence at Kokshetau University named after Abay Myrzakhmetov. He holds a Candidate of sciences (Law) degree. Given the field of scientific interests, he has many publications on civil law.. He has held senior positions in business structures and academic positions at various universities in Kazakhstan.
Research interests: corporate law, artificial intelligence, economic analysis of law.

Doctor of Economic Law and serves as the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Commercial Law at Ho Chi Minh City University of Law.
